Given the hybridity of contemporary artistic forms, <\/span><b>In Vivo <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">intends to host reflections on the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">written<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> arts (literature, comics, biographies, etc.) and non-cinematic visual arts (painting, sculpture, architecture, photography, installations, etc.) notably in their imbrication with the performing scenes and screens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>In Vivo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a trilingual platform (French, English and Spanish), which was broadly created for two main reasons.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Firstly, academic work on Performing Arts and Cinema mainly emanates from within these specific sites of artistic research. The presence of such approaches in other academic disciplines and publications remains marginal, even when the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">multidisciplinary<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> seems to be the scope. Thus, <\/span><b>In Vivo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> intends to attract specialists from fields of expertise which are, in a way, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">exterior<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to Performing Arts and Cinema. It aims to encourage analyses of artistic creation which combine, in a mutually exploratory manner (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in vivo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), artistic and non-artistic perspectives and methodologies.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From philo-performance to human sciences, and from\u00a0 gender studies to\u00a0 cultural studies, <\/span><b>In Vivo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is looking to assemble a polymorphic community of researchers, to whom are added artists and professionals of the arts (curators, critics, production assistants, etc.) who have a vivid interest in reflective and critical approaches.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondly, the aim of <\/span><b>In Vivo\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s international team (whose members pertain to different levels of study and expertise) is thus to prioritize the early career<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0researchers, artists, and professionals who would like to engage with the Performing Arts and Cinema from a multidisciplinary perspective.<\/span><\/p><p><b>In Vivo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contains 5 clusters, differentiated according to the methodology and the field of expertise to which they are respectively attached: AESTHETIC(s), PHILO-PERFORMANCE(s), HUMANITIES, QUEERNESS, PLURALITIES.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, a special section called DIALOGUE(s) will be exclusively dedicated to interviews with scholars, artists, and practitioners of the Performing Arts and Cinema.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CONCEPT The platform In Vivo, registered at the Biblioth\u00e8que Nationale de France with the ISSN N\u00b0 2825-9599, is specialized in multidisciplinary research on contemporary artistic creation, with an (almost) exclusive preoccupation with Performing Arts (theatre, choreography and dance, circus, performance art, opera) and Cinema.
