Humanities
Performing arts and cinema can transform human and social sciences (and their objects of study, such as archives, reports, testimonies, etc.) into visual and aural experiences that shape public awareness.
These representations are marked by the subjectivity of the artistic gesture and reflect layers of human interpretation, sometimes even within a dynamic of commitment, protest or denunciation, or even an existential one.

Performing arts and cinema reinvent socio-historical settings to explore human emotions and organic relationships, sometimes instrumentalising historical details in favour of creativity.
We welcome reflections on how human and social sciences shape performing arts and cinema (and vice versa), engendering new narrative and aesthetic perspectives.
